The area is anchored by Silver Creek, which flows directly through the city center, offering picturesque views from creekside cafes and pedestrian bridges that connect the bustling Main Street to quiet, shaded parks.

Gordon House
This is the only building in Oregon designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and stands as a primary example of his "Usonian" style, which emphasizes organic architecture and a seamless connection with nature. Originally built in 1964 on a farm in Wilsonville, the house was saved from demolition in 2001 and moved to the Oregon Garden, where it now serves as a museum showcasing its signature floor-to-ceiling glass walls and cedar fretwork.

Dog Park
The Silverton Dog Park is a dedicated off-leash area that features separate, fully fenced enclosures for small and large breeds to ensure a safe environment for all pets. Located on Davenport Lane near the skate park, the facility offers grassy open spaces, water stations, and shaded seating for owners to relax while their dogs socialize.

Silverton Reservoir and Marine Park
This 65-acre body of water is located in the Cascade foothills that serves as both a flood control measure and a popular local destination for fishing, swimming, and paddling. To maintain its tranquil atmosphere, the reservoir only permits electric trolling motors or non-motorized watercraft, and it is frequently stocked with thousands of hatchery trout for visitors to enjoy from the onsite fishing pier or docks.

Judy Schmidt Memorial Skate Park
This is an 8,500-square-foot concrete facility that features a variety of smooth bowls, rails, and ramps designed for skaters and BMX riders of all ages. This mural in Silverton, Oregon, honors the legacy of hometown native Homer Davenport, a world-renowned political cartoonist and the man responsible for bringing the first Arabian horses to America. Painted by David McDonald, the artwork blends Davenport's career achievements with personal history, featuring his famous caricatures alongside a tribute to his family and his beloved bull terrier, Duffy.

Oregon Gardens
This sprawling 80-acre botanical sanctuary features over 20 specialty gardens, including a world-class conifer collection and a 400-year-old Signature Oak tree. Beyond its diverse flora, the grounds are home to the Gordon House, the only Frank Lloyd Wright-designed residence in Oregon, and utilize a unique sustainable wetlands system to naturally cool and reuse the city's treated wastewater.

Silver Falls (Winter)
In winter, Silver Falls State Park transforms as heavy seasonal rains and snowmelt turn the waterfalls into thundering torrents, often creating a misty, emerald landscape draped in vibrant green moss. While it rarely snows, freezing temperatures can coat the surrounding cliffs and ferns in a delicate layer of ice, making the experience of walking behind the roaring 177-foot South Falls feel like entering a sparkling ice cavern.

Mr. & Mrs. Claus
Located in Town Square Park, the Mr. & Mrs. Claus mural was painted in 2002 by artist Roger Cooke to honor local resident Bruce Scoville, who famously portrayed Santa for the community for many years. This festive artwork is a popular holiday photo spot, featuring a cheerful Santa checking his list alongside Mrs. Claus near the town's giant Christmas tree.

Silver Falls State Park
Often called the "crown jewel" of the Oregon State Parks system, Silver Falls State Park is the largest in the state and is world-famous for its spectacular Trail of Ten Falls. This 9,000-acre wilderness allows visitors to hike through a lush canyon and even walk behind four massive curtains of water, including the iconic 177-foot South Falls.

Gallon House Covered Bridge
Built in 1916, this historic 84-foot bridge is the oldest covered bridge in Oregon and earned its name as a "liquor drop" for bootleggers during the Prohibition era. It spans Abiqua Creek and remains a popular destination for cyclists and photographers exploring the rural roads north of Silverton.
